Photography

Sorry it's been awhile! I've been very busy and trying to find a job. That's not going so well unfortunately. Anyways...to the blog! lol :P

Okay so art has ALWAYS been something that helped me feel better. It can be anything! Music, painting, drawing, photography, etc. Well I've been trying to get a little thing together for my photography page. I want to create an Etsy shop so bad or even lease a little shop cart at the mall. I love taking pictures and it is relaxing. It's a way for me to get out and do things..."capture" things in their natural area. So I keep thinking to myself "I could so make a living off of this!"

However I don't have money for college classes and while that would be a plus I don't think I need a class to take a few dozen photos. I'm not bragging about how great I am or how much talent I have. I feel like it just comes to me naturally so why should I pay for it? If anything this class would be for editing and such. It's just something that has been weighing me down lately because I know I could make it my job. I just wanted to share a few pictures I've taken. Enjoy them!! I also have a page on facebook!  Check it out when you get the time. :)

Masking Tape Masterpiece

So I was on pinterest a few months ago and got bored. I looked up crafts/ diy projects and got a lot of results. One thing the really caught my eye was painting a canvas with masking tape. I know it sounds weird but you don't paint with tape. haha very corny joke, sorry. It is a very fun project and keeps me busy for awhile depending on the canvas size. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them and was told I need to sell them. This is very easy and simple!

Make sure you have your supplies!

  • Canvases
  • Paint Brushes
  • Paints
  • Masking Tape
  • Easel if you wish
1st- Tape off any random patterns on your canvas

2nd- Choose which paint colors you want!

3rd- Paint away! I tend to count how many taped off areas I have and set an amount of how much color I'll be using.

I love this craft so much. Plus it is good for any age! I highly suggest this as a rainy day project if you have kids. It'll keep them busy for awhile if you give them enough paint. Here are a few of my finished ones. :)

Welcome! :D

Hi!

I like being crafty and creative and I LOVE trying out new artsy things whatever they are. So whenever I find a craft or something I want to try I'll share it with you! :) Also, if you have any suggestions or would like me to try something I will do my best!

I know it's short but hey! I like to keep it short and sweet!. lol
